Christmas in Jacksonville (again)

For some reason, the text in between "Merry Christmas" and "Happy New Year" did not show up. That's what I get for not previewing before publishing. Soooooo here goes again. We got her around the beginning of the month and will stay at least until New Years. The temperatures have been very mild, 70's most days with a few 60's mixed in. Quite comfortable for this far north. It did snow near the marina on 22 Dec (see pictures on first post) courtesy of a snow making machine, the kids had a ball and there were some "wipe-outs" too. Scupper was caught lounging on the dock by a new friend. Both she and Gilligan have been enjoying the dock and, so far, have been behaving themselves. We just finished a great pot luck dinner with several new and old cruising friends at the JAX yacht club. Way too much food as usual and a great time. Bernie has been working quite a bit at the local West Marine, as usual we showed up just when Lorna (manager) needed some help. Helps offset the gen-set replacement expense too. Even though the winter solstice is behind us, got to get moving to Miami before it gets colder.
