The Florida Keys

Only in the Keys do you find sights like this !!

We finally left Miami Beach and progressed down the Florida Bay into the Keys. Currently we're in Marathon, Boot Key Harbor. The city of Marathon is in the process of installing a large mooring field (150 or so), but we had no trouble locating a spot to drop the hook. "Calcutta" (Joe & Peggy) was very helpful in locating a spot near them. Our plans are to head north along the western coast of Florida, unfortunately the wind have changed around coming out of the north so we may be here a few more days waiting for a more favorable direction. The weather has been quite pleasant, in the high 70's to low 80's so there are worse places to be. We have seen Linda (and borrowed her car) she is doing well though probably working far too much. To all those in the north, spring will come someday !!
