Carol & Bernie
We have entered our 4th week of being "dirt dwellers", the plan to return to "Cat's Cradle" has now been put on hold (supposedly one more month). Someone has not completed his projects both on the boat and at Mom's. Of course the repair of sail covers has yet to be completed also. The staysail was not too difficult, but putting the jib through the sewing machine will be a challenge requiring more than 2 hands. Bernie has been working at West Marine (in Bear, Del) 2 days a week, so hes been on the road quite a bit. Our nephew, Scott has been gracious enough to lend his car to the effort. Last weekend the whole gang got toghether to celebrate Mom's birthday, the weather held for a picnic and a great time was had by all. The cats have made themselves at home, in spite of the presence of the resident kitty - "Mitzi". Since we are having a bit of a heat wave this is as good a place to be as any. Carol & Bernie

Carol & Bernie
Looks like we picked a good time to be ashore, last week the rains just wouldn't stop and there was flooding in the Susquehanna River. Reports are that there is a lot of debris floating in the upper Chesapeake bay. Bernie has been working a few days at the West Marine in Bear, Delaware (a little over an hours' drive from Lancaster). We have been catching up with family and hope to get a few house projects done for Mom. Carol & Bernie
